Sadie is a very sweet Senior girl who was picked up as a stray and taken to the local shelter but when her owner was found it was discovered she was in hospice care for cancer and could not take her back. The lady’s family was not able to take her either. She is supprisingly heartworm negative coming out of South Carolina! This 76 pound beauty loves to give high fives, be petted, and given lots of affection. She just arrived in her foster home so she has only met the other dogs from behind a gate. It has taken her some time to warm up to them, so we are not sure how she will be after a long slow introduction process. If you live in a home with few stairs, Sadie would like you to consider adopting her. The vet in SC diagnosed her with two bad knees and recommends ACL surgeries to fix both. The one she limps on more will be done first, then the other will be assessed. Each knee will cost $900, and she will need months of rest during her recovery. She is a very cuddly and loving girl and just wants to feel loved and secure. She has no history with cats and though her temperament is wonderful, we prefer to place her with kids 10 and older due to her knees.
