Meet Mr. Ruger!! Did somebody say BATH?? Oh well, Splish Splash I'm taking a bath!! Drying in the sun is such fun... At 10 years old, Ruger is lucky to be safe with IDR. He was owned by a woman who could no longer keep him, so she sold him on Craig's List to someone who ended up trying to "flip" him again to another seller. The owner's friend got him back but was also unable to keep him so she contacted IDR. It took a very long transport with many volunteers to get him to rescue and everyone reported that he was quiet and sad in the car. He is now safe and will be seeing their vet right away for a suspicious toe x-ray. He was not a fan of some of the small happy dogs he met on this journey but he has just arrived so he will be assessed again once he has settled in. He has no known history with cats or kids but was an angel for his bath, and his nails. His nails looked like talons because they were so long.
