Meet
Miss Bonnie!!
She
adds a WHOLE new meaning to BONNIE! Don't you agree??
Hey!!
Are you looking for me?? Look into my eyes...
Bonnie
is a 7 year-old red cropped and docked Doberman who was
surrendered to a rural country animal control by a family
member when her elderly owner passed away. As luck would
have it, Bonnie was adopted out from the shelter shortly
after being relinquished. The adopters already owned a 9
year-old male Doberman so they were looking to add a second.
Bonnie seemed to settle in quickly and was doing well but
unfortunately she became too bossy and a little jealous
and would overpower the male with her authority. Sadly,
the couple decided to return her as they thought it was
in her best interest. This time, animal control contacted
IDR and when she arrived was taken immediately to Doggie
Salon in New Lenox for a much needed spa date. She got a
bath and a pedicure and tolerated it all perfectly. She
also met the resident mascot kitty and had no negative reaction.
She met 7 very barky Pekingese through a chain link fence
and did fine not appearing to be annoyed by them. It is
said that Bonnie is housebroken and does travel well in
the car. Overall, she would be a great dog for someone
looking for a mellow companion!!
