Belle is a very active, healthy 7 year old Doberman. She's red, with natural ears and docked tail and she's on the small side. Belle's right eye is blind, from some kind of mechanical damage and she has much scarring on her head and back legs. She was very anxious when we first picked her up, but she has settled in nicely and has proven to be quite a character. It takes Belle a little time to trust both people and dogs, but she comes around. She has never been nippy. She's smart, has lots of energy, and she loves to play with other playful male dogs once she knows them. She's crate-trained and she's a good watchdog. Belle needs a secure yard, and a stay-a-home owner would be best, or at least someone who could be around a lot until she has settled in. A friendly, confident, male dog to live with, would be a plus: Belle and Blix are great friends and would make a fun pair.
