Meet Mr. Jesse!

I'm BLUE again... but only my coat!!

Jesse came to rescue after he his owner passed away and he was not found for two weeks during a wellness check. When the officers opened the door to the home Jesse bolted and was running loose for a week before being caught and brought to the shelter. When Jesse came to rescue the only hair he had was on his head. His blood work showed he was low thyroid and had elevated liver values. His liver biopsy concluded he had Copper Associated liver disease. He is on a special diet, medications, and needs special baths for his skin issues. Jesse is a special boy who takes everything in stride but is a sweet, needy, velcro Doberman. Due to his medical issues he will remain in his hospice foster home for the rest of his days.
