Dixie!
June, 2012 - Rest In Peace, dear Miss Dixie!
Meet
Miss Dixie!! Poor Lady!!!
She's a DD (Displaced Doberman) for the 2nd time!
Please
help with Miss Dixie's diagnoses so she can see if the 3rd time
is really the charm!!
Meet
sweet 7 year-old Dixie! She was adopted from DDR two years ago
but her adopter was recently diagnosed with cancer so she was
returned. There is no way to describe Dixie other than to say
"she is a trip." This girl makes you smile all day long.
With her HUGE personality she instantly wins over everyone she
meets and is smart as a whip. She can slide any gate latch with
her nose and open screen doors with her teeth so extra caution
is needed with this little Houdini. Having said all that, she
is great in her crate and never tries to escape. She is also great
with other dogs, cats, and humans of all ages. Super playful,
she will bounce around like a puppy when she's playing. She is
sharing her foster home with her best friend Oliver, who is a
sweet Dobie mix pup.
Dixie
will not be placed for adoption at this time until some of her
respiratory and possible cardiac issues can be investigated.

their rescue programs. This helps offset some of the additional
costs that come with caring for a senior (diet, medications,
supplements, etc.). Please read more about this program on the
Sponsor A Senior
page.
Miss
Dixie is looking for a sponsor! The cost to sponsor a Senior
Dobe is $40 per month or $480 per year. You can sponsor a Senior
for one month, one year, or somewhere in between. To sponsor
Miss Dixie, use the PayPal button below or visit the Sponsor
A Senior page for instructions on sending a check. Thank
you for any help you can give, it is MUCH appreciated!
