Meet Miss Teal !!

I tried to feed my family and what did I get?

I got SHOT and a shattered beyond repair leg...

And then I got repaired, got a LOVING home and regular dinner!!

Teal is sweet, deserving and affectionate female forever foster. She’s a victim of an irresponsible backyard breeder and was living under an abandoned trailer with a litter of puppies. Infrequently fed and watered, she attempted to procure a chicken for food when a neighbor shot her. An advocate got her to the veterinarian for treatment which involved critical care surgery resulting in complete removal of her left rear leg at the hip. Added to her risk factors was a positive test for heart worm. Teal survived and in time has learned to trust humans again. She is thriving and is a very happy, healthy and now heart worm free lady.
