This handsome gentleman came to us after being rescued following a neighborhood explosion in Houston. The house was damaged beyond repair and the family had no means to care for him after the incident. He and his mate were taken an and cared for before coming to us. He initially tested negative on his heart worm witness test in Houston however, we are scheduling him for a 4DX test.

Rico is active and agile and does not look 9 years of age. We are working to socialize him with people and dogs and he is making good progress.
