Jackson!
December, 2020 - Rest In Peace dear Mr. Jackson!
You
are so very loved, forever!!
Meet
Jackson !!
Just
like Andrew Jackson! The spirit of a mighty oak!
And just like an oak... i'd love to take root in your heart!!
Jackson
is a black and tan fellow found by a good Samaritan in TX on the
side of the road unable to walk. She states it looked like he
fell out of a vehicle and was dragged for some time. He sustained
injuries to the top of his paws, hips and his neck. She was able
to find assistance and had him seen by a veterinarian and fostered
him until he came to HDDR. His teeth are severely worn down and
look almost like they were filed but we will never know for sure.
Jackson needed assistance with ambulation when he first arrived,
so we fitted him up with a “help me up harness” to
help him get up and with walking. In time, his injuries have healed,
and he is walking and running now. We recently posted a video
of him running through Kira’s Field.
Special
Needs if any: Just the love he likely never had but always deserved!
Geographic areas for adoptions: Southwestern region of the US.
