Sabrina!
February, 2011 - Rest In Peace, dear Sabrina!
Sweet
Sabrina! So? Which color do you think I look best in?
Sabrina is an 8 year old senior girl who's owner
had to go to a nursing home. The owner's son took Sabrina but
just threw her outside in the yard. Eventually he turned her over
to a shelter who contacted DRU. She arrived very underweight,
covered in fleas and suffering from Wobbler's Syndrome. Hopefully,
when the time comes, the son will get a haunting instead of an
inheritance for his shabby care of this father's beloved Doberman.
On a brighter note, Sabrina is the sweetest dog. Her expressive,
soft brown eyes follow your every move. She is particular about
the canine company she keeps and is nicknamed The Alligator for
her attitude towards other dogs. She does well, however, with
cats. This lovely senior girl only requires an occasional ride,
time out in the sun, and the comfort of her favorite stuffed bear
to keep her happy.
Special Medical needs: Sabrina is receiving acupuncture
treatments for her Wobbler's Syndrome and wears a harness.
