Meet Miss Calleigh!!

This beautiful Senior girl found her self in a nightmare situation - and then it got worse... Her owner was involved in an auto accident and was paralyzed. Of course, this left little time for Calleigh as now his wife had to care for her husband full time. Calleigh found herself in the workshop under the house and only let out to be fed and to do her business. Being an insulin dependent diabetic her blood sugars were not being monitored and a large mammary tumor was allowed to get enormous. The husband decided the right thing to do and the RescueAngels from GCDR stepped in to help this sweet 8 year-old beauty and get her some much needed vet care. She is a sweet girl and her foster mom has fallen in love with her. She is housebroken and gets along with the other dogs in the foster home.

Special Needs: Diabetic needing insulin twice per day at this point; she also needs surgery for a very large mammary tumor.
