Meet
Mr.
Stanley!!
Can
you tell I'm HAPPY to see YOU??
Hold
on, I'm coming!!!
I'm
sooooo HAPPY now - a soft bed and a bone!!
Sweet
11 year old Stanley came to rescue after his owner was put in
jail. He was left alone in the backyard with neighbors trying
to get a rescue to take him. Bluegrass Doberman Rescue was contacted
by an all breed rescue who were able to find the owner’s
parents at the house. When asked if they could take him the parents
were more than happy to “get rid of the dog”. He was
checked out by a vet and was in much better than his visual condition
would indicate. He has few teeth, has pressure sores, and covered
in mud, but was heartworm negative. Although he had untreated
arthritis his heart of gold shone through. He is enjoying the
loving attention at his foster home and sleeping inside on a big,
comfy dog bed. For Stanley, the future is bright and the past
is in his rear view mirror.
