Meet Miss Ella!!

Lost her Dad... but...


She's hoping to keep The Duke with her!!

Ella (originally Stella, not sure why that was shortened) is about 10 or 11 years old and has returned to rescue with her mate Duke after their owner passed away.  She was adopted the same day as Duke 8 years ago.  Just like her "brother" she was spoiled and treated like a queen.  Everyone I spoke to would say she is the sweetest girl out there.  Slowing down in her old age and definitely missing her Dad.  She seemed to take his death the hardest.

Her Dad must have been a real fan of Miss Ella (Fitzgerald) as he already had a Duke (Ellington)!!  Jazz on!!

Special Needs If Any:  Duke and Ella are a bonded pair and are being fostered together. The rescue would like to get them adopted together since they are so close. (See the bio on Duke.).

Geographic areas you adopt to: Once cleared of HW, Kentucky and surrounding states and will adopt outside that area if a home visit can be arranged and the people are willing to travel to meet the Dobe in their foster home.
