I'll give YOU one of these!! 

Toby is the definition of Gentle Giant as he weights about 90 lbs.   He came to rescue when his owner was arrested and he was left behind all alone.  When Animal Control came in and took ownership the rescue was asked to take him in and find him a new home. He is sweet, calm and velcro.  Toby is most content being by your side or at your feet chewing his bone. He is very sweet and patient with the min pin puppy in his foster home, even though she’s way more energetic and playful than he is.   She gives him a bit of a pep in his step!  He has been sweet to and loved everyone he met, though sometimes he can take a minute to warm up.  We have not had Toby around kids, so will not adopt to a home with small kids, but older children will be fine. Toby is crate trained, potty trained and very well-mannered in his foster home.  He has not been destructive and does not seem to know any commands but he’s not unteachable.   If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly love bug that doesn’t need much exercise and won’t tear up your home, Toby is your guy!

Special Needs if any: Since Toby is an older dog, he does have some arthritis in his hips. His ideal home would be on without too many stairs.

Geographic areas:  Georgia and surrounding states and will adopt outside that area if a home visit can be arranged and the people are willing to travel to meet the Dobe in their foster home
