Millie!
July, 2011 - Rest In Peace, dear Miss Millie!
Here's
winking at you, kid! Miss Millie does know how to charm!!
Miss Millie is an 8 year-old Senior girl who came
to Atlanta Doberman Rescue when they were contacted by Animal
Control. She was emaciated and could barely walk from years of
malnutrition and confinement in a very small area. Millie could
barely walk from lack of muscle tone in her rear quarters, had
hook and whip worms, and yeast infections of both ears. She was
also infested with fleas but tolerated several baths to clean
her up. Millie is getting the vet care she needs and is learning
to be an indoor Dobe. She is unsteady on hard wood floors so Jane
has purchase her some little shoes that give her additional traction.
Millie is learning to play with toys and is soaking up all the
love and attention she has missed all her life. She does well
with other dogs.
You can visit Miss Millie on her SND Case page where
monies are raised to pay for the extensive check-ups she's had!
You can see her doing her dance number here http://www.doberman911.org/cases/millie.html.
