Brody!
May, 2023 - Rest In Peace dear Miss Brody!
You
are so very loved, forever!!
Meet
Miss Brody!!
I
still have a bunch of love to give...
and,
I'd love the cuddles and couch too... green grass aaaah!!
Brody
was adopted from us September 2016. Her mom has kept in contact
with us since then and always took the best care possible of Brody.
Several weeks ago, a contractor discovered a severe black mold
infestation in her home and she had to move out immediately. With
such short notice and with financial constraints her only option
was to move in with relatives, but they wouldn’t allow her
to bring Brody because they have cats and Brody isn’t good
with cats. She contacted several friends to see if anyone could
take Brody until she can get her house sold and find new permanent
accommodations, but no one could. She reluctantly returned Brody
to us. Brody has developed some type of neurological issue since
her adoption. It may be Wobblers but without an MRI we aren’t
sure, and we don’t know if we want to put her through all
that at her age. She is at least 9. We are looking into the possibility
of having a mobile vet treat her with acupuncture.
Special
Needs if any: Brody definitely has some neurological issues,
but the vet can’t be exactly sure what without an MRI which
is probably too costly at her age. Her front feet sometimes turn
under and she stumbles. We are hoping someone will adopt her as
special needs Dobe.
