Annie!
November, 2021- Rest In Peace dear Miss Annie!
You
are so very loved, forever!!
Meet
Miss Annie!!
Aaaah...
a soft place to land after a hard LIFE !!
Can
you believe this is what i looked like a short time ago???
Yikes!!
This
is how I looked right after I was saved !!
Annie
came into rescue from the Fulton County Animal Control after being
picked up as a stray. She couldn’t walk or stand on
her own, not even to potty so just wet her bed and laid in it.
Her eyes were caked with green mucus and she had several
mammary tumors. She was taken to the emergency vet and started
on pain meds and prednisone to see this would help her be able
to get up and walk. She was taken to her regular vet a few
days later and her meds were adjusted. She has started improving
and is now able to go on walks. The shelter thought she
might be suffering from dementia but with her improved ability
to move around and pain meds she does not appear to have dementia
after all. Annie is considered a hospice case and will remain
with the rescue for as long as her quality of life is good.
