Amy is a sweetheart who enjoys being petted but is not all that cuddly. She is happy to be close to you without being on top of you and likes to nap on her dog bed. She has done well with her foster sister and as she’s lost weight she’s gained some pep in her step. When she came into rescue she was a very hefty 100 lbs which caused her some serious mobility issues and was a strain on her heart. She hasn’t messed with the cats in her home either and has welcomed the foster's grand kids. She came from an Atlanta shelter and we don’t know her past, but she seems to have had it pretty rough.

Special Needs if any: Amy has been diagnosed with DCM and osteosarcoma. She is in hospice.
