Vanessa is now 10 years old and somewhat affected by a spinal disease that is paralytic, not painful, and it's amazing to observe how mobile she still is. She's a bossy girl who likes to play drill sergeant with other dogs, but she doesn't fight with them and just appears to enjoy her life telling them what to do. We think Vanessa will be doing this for a few years to come.
