Meet beautiful Senior girl Trixie. She belonged to a woman who moved out of the country and left her in the care of her mentally ill son. He lived in the back yard with Trixie who was denied entry to the house by his mother and just fed her table scraps of rice and various vegetables not believing in dog food. Needless to say Trixie needs to gain some weight. The neighbors continuously complained but the local animal control wouldn’t seize her because they had to go through necessary legal channels. Some neighbors even tried to steal her but the son made that a very dangerous situation. She finally, somehow ended up as a stray and rescue was able to get her from the shelter and get her the care she needed. Trixie needs to have a mammary tumor removed otherwise is shriving and she has a loving foster/hospice home lined up to give her the attention and love she needs for the rest of her days.
