Summer is one of those sweet older dogs that don't get noticed and end up spending many years with us - always hopefully waiting for that home that will come forward and give them the chance to enjoy their senior years in comfort by folks who appreciate older dogs. She is about 8 years old now, larger than the average female, and she lives peacefully with a batch of large male dogs. We haven't kenneled her with females, and we don't know anything about her behavior toward kids, but she's available for adoption or foster to any worthy home who can give her the attention and comfort she deserves.
