Simba is an agile senior blue Dobie boy of 11 years old who had been given up to an animal shelter by his owner in 2016. He was what we often sadly refer to as a "train wreck," as he was emaciated, had significant hair loss, a heart murmur, and a sinus infection. Admittedly Simba is one of our "lesser beauties," so he hasn't been adopted, but he enjoys free-roaming privileges on six fenced acres and sleeps indoors because he's dog-social and has no bad habits. He gives comic relief daily when he lays prone on his back like an otter and when he charges out the door like a rocket, so eager to  be trailblazer for whatever adventure awaits him. Simba is tall and lanky at about 75 pounds.
