Kona has a known date of birth (May 24, 2012) who was given up by her owner at age 6 in 2018 because she had become mildly incontinent.   Though a suggestion had been made to try medication to treat this condition, the owner was unwilling or unable to try it.  Kona is a beautiful, tiny little girl weighing just over 50 pounds, who’s housebroken, good with other dogs and kids, knows all of her commands and isn't destructive. The rescue has been able to provide her with lots of privileges due to her good behavior. Kona's incontinence is very minor so she sleeps indoors, and her favorite things to do are to chase a ball or fetch a thrown toy and play tug-of-war with her human(s).
