Eleven year old Hans came from another rescue and his story was that his original family, who lived around Oroville, moved out and left him. He wandered for about a year, got heartworm, and was taken to a shelter by a neighbor who had been feeding him. Poor Hans had growths that were impinging on his spine. He went into surgery and now has a scar on the back of his neck but is mobile and friendly loving being a house dog. He is a big boy, weighing about 110 lbs.
