Eleven year old Gumpie was transported from a San Francisco shelter and was a favorite there. He was tried as one of the rescue’s free roamers but prefers to bull his big body through the doggie door and hang out in the kitchen near all of the action. He is at least 90 pounds and does fine with all the other dogs. He is demanding with people, leaning and literally pushy for attention. It is usually cute but can sometimes be annoying but not so as to be exiled... :). Before ending up in the shelter he’d been passed around to multiple homes.  Kathryn at the shelter loved Gumpie and protected him until he could be transported south to the rescue.
