Fern came to rescue after being picked up as a stray and taken to a central valley CA shelter. She was never claimed and although she had a microchip her owners could never be traced. She was standoffish with other dogs making people less interested in a adopting her so she’s been at the rescue for several years. She then began walking with her head down and having trouble moving so the vet gave her medication and she will be seeing a specialist soon to get a definite diagnoses.
