FosterDobes help!!
Aaaaahhh, SAFE AT LAST!!
Sweet 7 year-old
Noelle has lived a life of misery as can be seen by her photos.
She was removed from the backyard of a home by animal control
officers for animal cruelty weighting only 31 lbs. Doberman Rescue
of North Carolina took her to North Carolina State University
Veterinary School where she required a week in Intensive Care.
Throughout her ordeal, this beautiful Senior Doberman has shown
her sweet personality and a strong will to live. Noelle is now
in a permanent foster home she shares with a sister Doberman and
a cat. Although she has survived her initial crisis she still
requires a lot of special care to heal from the damage of her
starvation. She can now eat and drink unassisted and consumes
4 cans of O/M liquid nutritional supplement, diced chicken and
steamed rice daily. Special Needs Dobermans is helping with the
cost of her recovery and you can visit her page at
http://www.doberman911.org/newcases.html
and on her personal page at http://doberman911.org/cases/noelle2.html.
She will also require frequent monitoring of her bloodwork to
make sure her recovery stays on tract. Her body still has a long
way to go but her spirit is beginning to blossom as she has started
to do the Dober trot and bum wiggles of a normal Dobe.
Noelle's
story has captured the hearts of many across the country and she
now has her own FaceBook page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Noelles-Christmas-Angels/265886380127539.
Special Needs
if any: Noelle will
need a lot of care in the coming year before she is healthy enough
to be spayed and treated for heartworms. She will remain with
Leslie and Mike for the rest of her days.
