Zinfandel!
”Zin” was rescued by a family who had
hoped to place him after receiving him from a "free to good
home" ad in the local paper. They tried for a year to find
him a home with no success. Finally, they contacted Doberman Rescue
of Colorado for assistance. Zin is currently in foster care looking
for his forever home.
Zin is 7 ½ years old, red and rust, cropped, docked, and
neutered. He is very obedient, and his only deficiency is off
lead compliance. He loves his crate and often just hangs out in
it. He is a verbal/talkative boy. He is excellent with kids and
dogs of any sex or breed. He is very good with cats, but does
enjoy a romping game of chase, where the cat does or not. He loves
car rides and wiggling into laps. He only has one behavioral quirk
- he will only drink water from the right side of his feeding
stand. If water is put in the left side he will sit and whine
until the error is corrected. This sweet boy is taking daily thyroxin
doses for hypothyroidism. He also has a small fatty cyst medial
to right armpit, and an ingrown hair follicle on left rear leg.
Contact Information: Doberman Rescue of Colorado will place Zinfandel
