This petite and well-mannered DoberLady is looking for a forever family that enjoys gentle, refined DoberKisses. Her foster Mom told us that Greta was "… timid [at first] but did warm up to me in a matter of minutes - holding her face gently to mine for a kiss on her muzzle." She is a very sweet, beautiful 7 ½ year-old spayed black and tan girl, with cropped ears and a docked tail. Greta is currently being adored in a foster home, with an elderly male rescue Chihuahua.

Greta is kind and gentle soul whose eyes seem to speak of too much sorrow in her past life. Although she's most comfortable with women, she also gets along with men. Her preference for women is likely "baggage" from her earlier years. She has very little gray on her - just a wee bit on her lower muzzle (we're certain she doesn't use Grecian Formula!). Greta takes medication for the oh-so-common spay incontinence, and is sometimes a bit stiff when sitting, but she is otherwise in very good health.

In exchange for you opening your heart and home to Greta, which will erase the worry and sadness from her eyes, she will decorate your life with love and grace for many years to come.

Puget Sound Dobe Rescue/Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue prefers to place their rescued dogs with homes in the Pacific Northwest area of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or British Columbia, but may consider placing a dog in a great home beyond that area.
