Meet
Miss Whitney!!
Here's
a "Day In The Life" of a beautiful DobeLady! Huh?
You rang??
This sweet "gem" of a Senior girl
is 8 years-old and was discarded by her owners because she
was wetting her bed at night. A quick trip to the vet and
she was placed on a common inexpensive medication that eliminates
the problem. Whitney was also extremely obese when surrendered
but is now looking slim, trim, and simply fabulous after
having shed almost 20 pounds. When first coming to rescue
she would cower in a corner and shield herself when she
heard loud voices. This behavior is seen in dogs who are
frequently screamed at. Now that she has settled into her
foster home she is enjoying being treated with respect,
affection, and no more screaming. This gentle, quiet Senior
girl would do best in a home as a single dog or with a male.
No female canine companions. She is simply wonderful with
children.
Special Needs if any: Inexpensive medication for urinary
incontinence
Geographic areas: Applicants must live within a two hour
drive of the Houston city limits.

The Sponsor A Senior program helps Seniors
by raising funds for their rescue programs. This helps
offset some of the additional costs that come with caring
for a senior (diet, medications, supplements, etc.). Please
read more about this program on the Sponsor
A Senior page.
Miss Whitney is looking for a sponsor! The
cost to sponsor a Senior Dobe is $30 per month or $360
per year. You can sponsor a Senior for one month, one
year, or somewhere in between. To sponsor Miss Whitney,
use the PayPal button below or visit the Sponsor
A Senior page for instructions on sending a check.
Thank you for any help you can give, it is MUCH appreciated!
