Meet Miss Vita! One look at that face will tell you she is full of IT - Vita, that is!!

She's looking for "La Dolce Vita" where she doesn't have to explain to cretins that:
Hello! Dogs get fleas, people!! ...especially if "prevention" isn't in your vocabulary!!

Lovely 7 year-old Vita was living in North Carolina when suddenly her family blamed her for bringing fleas in the home and banished her outside to the yard instead of treating or bathing her. Confused, lonely, and left to deal with the flea bites that had now become sores, her life was a misery. Finally her family contacted a case worker with the Doberman Assistance Network who took her to a vet , bathed her for fleas, and moved her into a foster home with DDR. Vita is a good girl who is enjoying being back in a home with a family again. She is good with other dogs, LOVES all people, and is ok with cats. Her foster mom says she is a great girl!

Not only did her old family let the fleas almost eat her alive they did not give her any heartworm preventive so she has started her heartworm treatment. She will have two more injections in a month, a month of resting, and will then be ready to find her perfect forever home. One that does not blame the Dobe for the fleas!!.

Special Needs if any: None once her heartworm treatment is completed .
