Trina is an 8 year-old Senior girl who was pulled from a shelter in South Carolina where her time was up. She was picked up as a stray and had a gaping wound on her head that was starting to heal but had become infected. She had obviously been on her own for quite a while as she was emaciated, loaded with worms, and flea infested. Poor Trina was also heartworm positive and the rescue feels she was probably used as a puppy factory and then discarded. With love, medical care, and good food she is finally coming out of her shell and wanting affection and attention. Trina was always sweet but somewhat reserved. She is starting to feel safe enough to give kisses and her little nub is beginning to wiggle. Won't you be there for her and cheer her on?
