Ruby's current owner had to sell her home and could not take her into apartment housing. Ruby is 7 years old, red, cropped, docked, and spayed. She is currently taking daily maintenance medication for thyroid condition. Ruby knows basic obedience (sit, down, stay) , walks beautifully on a leash, and LOVES to go for car rides! She is a very low maintenance girl and asks very little to be happy - she really just craves being pet and having the opportunity to be near someone who loves her. She is very quiet, which means there is no unnecessary barking or "talking." Ruby would do best in an adult home with no other pets, since she doesn't like other dogs and hasn't met a cat she didn't want to chase. She's a great dog and loves the people she's close to, but wary of strangers and may bark or snap at them. She will accept new people after being introduced and given time to get comfortable. She is good with her vet and has been boarded without any problems. Ruby is greatly loved and deserves a great new home!
