Happy, happy retirement Mr. Louie!
HIP HIP HOOOORAY!!
Meet
Mr. Louie!!
They
wrote a song about me!! Do you know "Louie, Louie,
Louie??"
Aaaah!! Is there anything better than a belly-rub by a pretty
Lady??
I BET NOT!!
This adorable Senior boy was pulled from
a high kill shelter in South Carolina by the Doberman Assistance
Network after his owners dumped him saying he kept digging out
of the yard and they didn't have time for him. "No time"
included not neutering him and leaving him by himself as a "yard
dog." Southwest Ohio Doberman Rescue made room for this handsome
fella and he has stolen the hearts of everyone he meets. He is
a classic Dober-boy who loves to lean on you and just be petted
and loved. He should be renamed "Louie the Lean(ing) Machine".
His sweet big eyes looked so relieved when he arrived to the rescue
and a volunteer sat out in the yard with him for over an hour,
and all he did was softly lean on her while she hugged and petted
him. He is shy at first introductions but will warm to your attention
quickly. While waiting for his ride to SWODR in Ohio he lived
in a foster home where he never tried to dig, got along with their
dog, but does not do well with cats. Chasing and nipping at cat
is just too much fun to resist! Louie is a 80 pound baby who rides
well in a car, healthy, and not on any medications - unless you
call love a drug! He enjoys attending rescue events and has a
favorite position with his belly up to allow you access to rub
it. He is a belly rubbing fanatic!!
