Meet Miss Laverne!! She has no idea what happened to Shirley...

...But who needs Shirley when she's ready to take a chance on YOU!! Are you ready??

Beautiful 7 year-old Laverne was brought to rescue by a good samaritan veterinarian. The vet had actually crossed paths with Laverne earlier in her life when she'd been hit by a car and had extensive injuries to her right forelimb. She recovered from those injuries well and has no pain but does walk a little funny and will occasionally lick her leg due to numbness. Sweet Laverne's cropped ears do not stand all the time but when she's very interested in something they can be quite impressive. Her foster mom says she a character! She likes other dogs, cats, and kids and loves to have her teeth brushed. Laverne also likes spending time lounging in a baby pool to stay cool and later taking a long nap on the couch. If you need company on your couch look no further. This amazing dober lady would love to join you each evening and keep you entertained during the day!

The Sponsor A Senior program helps Seniors by raising funds for their rescue programs. This helps offset some of the additional costs that come with caring for a senior (diet, medications, supplements, etc.). Please read more about this program on the Sponsor A Senior page.

Miss Laverne is looking for a sponsor! The cost to sponsor a Senior Dobe is $30 per month or $360 per year. You can sponsor a Senior for one month, one year, or somewhere in between.
