Hmmmm,

Arrrrrr!
Meet
10 year-old Junior. Junior has spent his entire life living at
a shelter in Ohio. He arrived there as a young dog and they decided
to keep him as a dog tester and never adopted him out. He did
his job well and loved hanging out with the shelter workers but
when no one was there it had to be a lonely life for him. Volunteers
would bring in grilled hot dogs as a treat for him and he would
roll over to get his belly rubbed. Recently, a new commissioner
was elected and he fired the shelter director and said that Junior
had to go too as he was a liability. A local vet has donated his
medical care over the years and found that Junior was VonWillebrand
positive so he was never neutered. Southwest Ohio will make sure
he gets the clotting factor prior to his neuter so it will be
done safely. Junior is fast becoming the volunteers favorite.
He gets extra office time because of his cute self. As a joke
the shelter volunteers sent him to rescue with a leather spiked
collar as he is anything but the stereotypical vicious Doberman!
Special
Needs If Any: VonWillebrand positive.
