I was DISCARDED by the people who refused to take me back because of my medical problems!!
DUH??? I got like this in their care!!!

BUT... then I had the luckiest day of my life!! A Close Encounter of the real LOVE & CARE kind
with the RescueAngel Squad from SWODR!! Well!

January, 2011 UPDATE: It happened again... I was adopted and rejected again... their loss!! I'm back with my Angels at SWODR!

Sweet 7 year-old Harvey was picked up as a stray and when his owners were contacted they told the shelter worker they didn't want him anymore due to his medical issues. This is unbelievable considering his health issues were due to their neglect! Being rescued by the angels of Southwest Doberman Rescue when his stray hold was up is Harvey's Christmas Miracle! He was emaciated and covered in sores so large they at first appeared to be growths. Sweet Harvey is being treated for his health issues and is already feeling much better. He has made many cat and dog friends in his foster home and will soon be ready to find a new forever family who will love him as he deserves.

The Sponsor A Senior program helps Seniors by raising funds for their rescue programs. This helps offset some of the additional costs that come with caring for a senior (diet, medications, supplements, etc.). Please read more about this program on the Sponsor A Senior page.

Mr.Harvey is looking for a sponsor! The cost to sponsor a Senior Dobe is $30 per month or $360 per year. You can sponsor a Senior for one month, one year, or somewhere in between.
