Dutch was picked up as a stray and waited in a high kill shelter for weeks waiting for his owners, but they never came. Dutch is a 7-8 year old black and tan neutered male. His ears are cropped, though they are short for a Dobe, and his tail is docked. His ears and his beefy build give the impression of a tough dog, but Dutch is really a giant marshmallow. He has become a favorite of his foster mom, as he is a wonderful houseguest. He has manners, so it is believed that he was well-loved family member at one time in his life. Dutch loves to play with his foster siblings, and their only complaint is he snores a bit loudly. Other than that, they think he’s a great Doberdude!
