Meet
8 year-old Belle. Poor Belle has been passed around quite a bit
in her life. She was surrendered to rescue by a couple who had
her for only 8 months because “they didn’t have time
for her.” They got her from an older couple who were unable
to care for her. As you can understand, Belle is a bit shell-shocked
but is starting to settle into her foster home. She is dog friendly
but should not be in a home with cats. She is house and crate
trained. Belle is a silly girl and she can really get wound up
while playing but also loves to get up on the sofa, pile up her
blankets, and rub her face in them. She also is a blanket sucker,
is content to play with her Kong toys and bones. SWODR is hoping
Belle’s next adoptive home will really be her “forever
home.”
