Meet Miss Sophie!!

Did someone say Miss Sophie?? You rang??

Gorgeous Sophie at 7 years-old was abandoned along with her 3 year-old daughter Abby by an owner who left them in an outdoor cage without food or water. Worried neighbors purchased food and brought water while they searched for their owner. They located him and were told he didn't care about the dogs anymore and would not be back to get them. Repeated attempts to get him to act responsibly came to an end when they learned the owner had been jailed on felony charges. The police worked with the neighbors and after the legally required wait time for abandonment was confirmed DRNV was allowed to step in and take them. The neighbors were aware that Sophie's chances at the shelter would be grim due to her age so they contacted the rescue angels of DRNV who stepped in to save the day. This lovely girl will be spayed after she goes out of heat and will be looking for a new home with people who deserve to have her.

Geographic areas for adoptions: Any state in the western part of the U.S. as long as a home visit can be arranged. New adopters must come to Nevada to meet the Doberman they wish to adopt and bring with them any pet who lives in the home.
