Joy!
If you want (or need) to add some joy and harmony in your life, a wonderful redhead
may be exactly what you're seeking!
This great ambassador of the Doberman breed, now dubbed "Joy" by her rescuers,
was recently abandoned at a high-kill shelter. Joy is currently safe in foster care
while she waits to choose a new family who will love her forever. It's beyond our
understanding why someone would anonymously dump such a fantastic DoberLady,
especially at a high-kill shelter; we're hoping it was because they just plain
didn't know of other available options. But make no mistake: Their loss will definitely
be someone else's tremendous gain.
Joy is a beautiful red and rust Dobe who is spayed, cropped, docked, and approximately
8 years young. Her recent vet check determined that her health is excellent, although
she does need thyroid and incontinence medication, both of which are inexpensive and
very easy to administer.
Joy exudes class and nobility. She is confident without being pushy, very well-mannered,
outgoing, and loving. She is fully house trained, has basic obedience skills and responds
quite nicely to commands. And there's even more to this wonderful Dobergirl: She gets
along perfectly with dogs, cats, kids, and adults. In short, Joy is a joy and will be a
perfect addition to any household!
Las Vegas Doberman Rescue will place Dobermans in Nevada, Arizona, California or Utah,
with the stipulation that she will be returned to Las Vegas Doberman Rescue if
the adoption does not work out.
