Charlie!
Charlie in Las Vegas, Nevada
Charlie was turned into the local animal shelter
by his owner. Charlie's owner was suddenly homeless and had no
place to put his dog. The local shelter is extremely overcrowded
and Charlie was a good candidate to be put to sleep due to his
age and his thin coat. He is currently in foster care and he
will be safe until he finds a forever home. Charlie was just
returned to Las Vegas Doberman Rescue because it was found that
he is not good with kids. Any new home would need to not have
youngsters!
This dog is the sweetest boy ever and a true velcro-Doberman.
He loves to be with his person, touching them as he walks alongside
them. Charlie is good with other dogs (females), he is not interested
in cats, and he is good with men, women and children. His foster
mom says he really is one of the sweetest dogs she has had in
a while and he really is a people dog. Charlie is black/rust,
has natural ears, a docked tail, and neutered. He is also micro-chipped,
housetrained, and crate trained.
Charlie has no special medical needs other than
vitamins and good quality dog food for a healthy coat. While
he
doesn't seem to have any formal training, he is willing and eager
to learn and will be a breeze to train. Charlie does not like
fireworks and his favorite thing is to chase the red dot on a
laser pen!

The Sponsor A Senior program helps Seniors by
raising funds for their rescue programs. This helps offset
some of the additional costs that come with caring for a senior
(diet, medications, supplements, etc.). Please read more about
this program on the Sponsor
A Senior page.
We're happy to let you know that Charlie has
been sponsored through July, 2006! Many thanks for helping
this wonderful Senior Dobe!
