At High Desert Doberman Rescue recently, we took in four Dobermans and a senior bulldog mix from a tragic situation where their owner passed away leaving them alone in the home. All five canines are obese. Jackson already has an appointment with their vet clinic. They are especially concerned with his weight, limited mobility, and a lick granuloma on his left front leg. Given his age he will also have a senior wellness blood package to check the thyroid!
