We continue to evaluate Milo, the Doberman who had part of his left rear leg missing from a horrible injury. He was abandoned at a local shelter with no reason listed other than he had a recent injury to his leg of unknown origin. His injury was painful and awkward. The radiographs reveal a "mothy bone" effect at the distal end of the stump and a healing scar at the surface necessitating surgical amputation of the affected leg. Surgery was successful and this gem is recovering well and thriving. Milo is good with other dogs!

Special Needs if any: The rescue is continuing to evaluate Milo’s health and will join the adoptee pool soon.
