| King Taz! July, 2009: The King has been adopted!! Long Live the King!!
KING TAZ is an 8 year old, black and rust, cropped and docked male who was left behind when his owners moved. Our veterinarian removed some benign lumps, treated Taz for Lyme Disease, and put him on medication for hypothyroidism. He is healthy and full of Doberman personality. Taz moans in appreciation of being scratched behind the ears. He likes a big, cushy bed and takes great care in preparing it at bedtime. People he cares about are always accompanied to the bathroom. Water running from a garden hose makes him manic. He howls if no one answers the phone. Taz is just as happy lying in a sun spot as he is for a lively game of "Find the Treat." Although Taz is all bark and no bite, most people flee from the impressive display of his guard dog heritage at the door or in the car.
