Taylor!
This
pathetically thin female was rescued from a shelter two days before
her time was up, and she was due to be euthanized. Unfortunately,
no one wants to give consideration to a senior Doberman when they
are visiting shelters.
Taylor is black with rust markings, 7 ½ years old, spayed,
docked, and has natural ears. She weighs 64 pounds, is micro-chipped,
house trained, and current on all vaccinations and heartworm preventative.
She is good with children and large dogs, but has no exposure to
cats.
She's a delightful girl and always seems ready to please. She
wants to be close to the humans and is very affectionate, so
be prepared for face washes with Doberkisses. If you stop petting
her, she will take your hand or arm and nudge you to start again.
This is a true velcro-Doberman. She loves to be close to people.
She settles down as soon as she gets in the car by stretching
out on the backseat. She walks well on a leash, knows how to "sit," and
is learning "down". She loves to play with toys and
can be quite a clown.
She loves to go outside in the backyard and lie in a sunny spot.
She's a darling Dobergal who has a lot of love to give in her remaining
years. All she needs now is a permanent, forever home.
