Reagan!
Here's another very sad turn-in story where the family would not keep this poor Dobergirl
anymore because there's been a disruption with other family dogs. She had been given to
another family and stayed in the home for years. They are moving and she was given back
to her original owner. Unfortunately, she and the other dog in the house do not get
along very well. She was shipped to rescue from Florida on the first of June.
Reagan is 9 years old, female, black/tan, cropped, docked, spayed, and micro-chipped.
This 72-pound sweetie is good with older children, but not good with cats or assertive dogs.
She is current on all vaccinations and on monthly heartworm prevention.
She's a laid-back Dobergirl and really will do anything you want.
She'll sit or lie by your side if you want to relax. Take her out for a walk,
and she's ready to go anywhere. A ride in the car? She can jump into the back of an
SUV better than some dogs half her age. Actually, the only physical part of Reagan
that shows her age is some gray hair around her muzzle. Other than that, she's full
of energy and ready for whatever life throws her way. She is still frisky and fun loving.
She loves to play fetch with her balls, and truly has lots of energy.
She's been living in a kennel for six months and has proven she can persevere.
She overcomes the boredom by chewing on her compressed rawhides and making friends
with all the human visitors. She's had basic obedience and can sit, stay and down.
She's very good in the house, never destructive, never chews, doesn't bark unnecessarily
and only goes on the furniture if told it's okay. All she needs to make her life complete
is a special human who will make these the best years of life. She wants a home that will
be hers forever and especially needs special hugs and cuddles to know she's loved and wanted.
