Meet Terrifying Thunder? More like terrified, but only for now!! Terrific is more like it!! I think I can, I think I can... I CAN!! This is NO way to treat a dog, much less a DOBERMAN!! Thank you Midwest Doberman Rescue!! Poor Thunder has definitely seen some hard times the last few years. Adopted from Midwest Doberman Rescue back in 2005 when it was known as St. Louis Doberman Rescue, he is now being returned. The man returning him is not the original adopter but a friend of the adopter who died a few years ago. He took in his friend’s dog and tried to care for him but contacted the rescue when he realized he was not able to feed Thunder due to his own circumstances. Thunder will be seeing the vet for a complete checkup but until then has been started on several small meals a day to slowly get his weight back up where it should be.
