I'm finding out that a dog house is not the best company I could keep! A real Forever Future is what I now know I crave!! Lovely 7 year-old Sheba has had a very sad life. Before coming to Arda at Second Chance Doberman Rescue she'd spent her entire life chained to a tree in Cooksville, TN with only her dog house as company. One day a wonderful lady who drove by the property each day could no longer stand seeing this little beauty all alone sometimes without food or water, so she stopped and talked the owner into handing Sheba over to her. With the help of the Doberman Assistance Network and some great transporters Miss Sheba arrived in Michigan to begin her life over. Sheba has never had the chance to be a pet so she doesn't have much obedience training. She is now crate trained but it can still be a challenge to get her to come inside once she is out. She will need a fenced yard and a lot of patience as she is still very shy with strangers. However, she loves to play with other dogs and plays very nicely.
