Meet Mr. Walter !!

I could certainly get used to this!!

Nine year-old Senior boy Walter is a curious and adorable boy with crazy ears. He was surrendered to rescue because his owner had Alzheimer's and his wife was moving in with a friend. Although he’s a Senior dog, Walter has the energy of a younger dog. Before coming to rescue Walter lived outdoors but now appears to be enjoying the comforts of living indoors. He was unbelievably filthy when arriving to his foster home and seemed to enjoy his bath. He appears to have a little weakness on his right back leg but that may be from an old injury or living outside. He did check out to be heartworm negative! So far he’s doing okay with the dogs he’s met but more will be known once he settles in.!

Geographic Adoption Area: Kentucky and surrounding states but will adopt outside that area if a home visit can be arranged and the people are willing to travel to meet the Dobe in their foster home.
